re:Bloom’s Fall Cohort kicked off the first week of September with eight small businesses that will be completing the 10-week Web Development Bootcamp. This cohort includes five small businesses that were sponsored by our partner, ORIGINS.
ORIGINS is a multifaceted effort driven by Bridgeway Capital’s Creative Business Accelerator to foster personal pathways for Black creatives to maximize business success, creative growth, and community impact. The initiative also advances Black voices and aesthetics in the regional arts and cultural economy and ecosystem.
The five small businesses were selected from ORIGINS Network Members. The partnership with ORIGINS is one way for community organizations to partner with re:Bloom and have a direct impact on small businesses that they support. By identifying and offering financial support to businesses to complete either our web development boot camp or marketing program, organizations can help small businesses grow their online presence and strengthen their business.
This type of partnership allows individuals, organizations, and institutions that work directly with small businesses to identify a cohort of businesses that would benefit from re:Blooms affordable, accessible, and sustainable programs.
